Accuracy matters more than defending an earlier version of an article.

Reporting an error

Use the contact form and choose “Report a correction.” Please include the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a source or explanation that helps us verify the issue. Do not send confidential credentials or personal financial information.

How we respond

We review the cited passage and relevant sources. Outcomes may include:

• Correcting a factual error and adding a dated correction note.
• Updating a time-sensitive detail and changing the “last checked” or modified date.
• Clarifying wording that was technically accurate but reasonably misleading.
• Removing a claim that cannot be supported.
• Leaving the article unchanged and, when practical, explaining why.

Material corrections are disclosed on the article when the original error could change a reader’s conclusion. Routine spelling, grammar, formatting, and link repairs may be fixed without a public note.

No silent rewrites of meaning

An article’s modified date changes when its substance changes. TechNest does not quietly reverse a recommendation or materially alter a news account while presenting it as the original version.
